Iquitos

Iquitos is in the North forest, to the east of the country. It is Loreto’s capital.

With a height of 106 meters above sea level.

The area stretches over 5.932,25 Km

The climate is warm all year-round at approximately 26.5°C.

It is one of the most exotic cities of South America. Around the city different towns and indigenous small villages, zoological, National Reserves and other nature artactives. In addition, the city conserves constructions of the Republican age pertaining to the time of the rubber (approximately from 1880 to 1925).
